When I was composing the last post I may have come across a bit angry.
I would have clarified something if I had a clear head. I am a very open minded person. I would love to have a job and earn loads of money and if that job is not a creative enough job I won't let that hold me back from indulging in writing, photographing, watching films, reading books, eating & cooking and dressing up. I definitely do want a job related to these (except for the cooking part) fields but I won't refuse a job that pays the bills and buys me the luxury I won't be able to afford otherwise (these hobbies are also included in the luxuries). I am grateful for the things I have in life. My angst was an outcome of what I see among many of my peers and their parents. I won't go into the details but all that I said I find stupid has something to do with it. I had science in my +2 level and I hated it and struggled to keep up. There was a point in school where I did enjoy the subjects but higher levels meant greater details which I was not cut out for and neither was I ever interested to pursue further. When I took up arts in college I got those comments and advices, some times they were direct some times indirect; disrespect and misjudgement was hidden behind the mask of politeness and concern. That has left a mark on me. I have an argumentative side and I often sound defensive when I am trying to explain myself. I do not mean offense or disrespect to anyone.I respect hard working, honest people no matter what they do and what their personal opinions are as long as they are tolerant toward others.
I will remember what Francesca (of dontcallmefashionblogger) said - it is important to not be disappointed in others in order to feel happy ( a little less agitated).
I want to thank SS Fashion World, Soapy Mermaid and Sassy Uptown Chic for giving me the 3 following awards!!
Wii of A Single Girl's Musings
I appreciate that you all make the effort to leave a comment & show me that you actually read my blog and that means a lot. More so I like that by continuously blogging you keep me inspired to blog regularly. I have interacted with some of you (you know if you are one of them) and I am glad I met such nice people here. ♥
Now, hopefully you remember the review I did for Nature's Company of the products they sent me. (You can read it *here* )I am still using them and I am very happy to report that I haven't had any negative experiences while using their products. The festival season is on and very soon it will be Diwali. For that they are doing a special thing. You can send personalised gifts to your loved ones on Diwali on every minimum purchase of Rs.1795 ( just 36$) and Rs.1995 ( 40$). You will have the choice of receiving beautiful packaging options from The Nature's Co. which come along with a few Diwali surprises namely- a diya, incenses cones with the holder, a coffee bean candle & incense sticks.
P.S. - I am a Romwe affiliate. You can see the ad in my sidebar. I have some new discount coupons which I will be happy to share with you. Just let me know if you are interested.
