MUA & Stylist Saga

Last December I landed my first paid assignment for a make-up and styling project for a friend's production company. They were working on a music video. We had fun shooting for 2 days. Here are a few snapshots I have been thinking about sharing for long.
I enjoy working on sets. So, far I have only worked on small productions, which are far more intimate, mostly with friends or people who become friends. It is really energising to be surrounded by a bunch of people who are creative and passionate about cinema and film making.
I am not really looking for a creative career in make-up. I do MUA work more as favours, because thanks to my blog I do have a large amount of make-up products and a little bit of working knowledge on doing the right kind of make-up.
I just realised how long it has been since I updated my hairstyle. I still like this golden brown ombre effect. But, truth be told I am growing a bit tired of the same look. I have two options. Either I can try and go lighter and then somehow get hold of unnatural dyes and do the deed. Or I can go red again. I am unsure. I have a lack of time and real enthusiasm to do anything actually. I just have so many other things on my mind that I can barely sit still and invest so much time on my hair right now.

I did need to get a bunch of new things for this shoot. It becomes really difficult to buy things at the drop of a hat, especially when you are on a budget. If you have some time on hand, you can get the things online, and coupon sites like 27coupons.com  come in handy at such times. It offers coupons for more than 800 Indian brands. If you register now, they will give you 250 reward points. Go right ahead!

  3. You know I'm a fan of your makeup. That's the only reason I allowed you the privilege to use your oxblood lipstick on my baby bum soft lips, you know? :-P :-P And, I still can't have enough of your hair! It's so cool! Why'd you go red? :-(
