Another decade which I love would be the hippie decades which started in 1960's and influenced the 70's as well. I guess my love for these decades mainly comes from the fact that there was some major rule breaking going
on in these years. People really embraced new forms of lifestyle altogether. Some changes that took place effected life all over the world and living now I am grateful that my predecessors did something I deeply appreciate and enjoy since i cannot imagine how the world ever functioned without them. Things i love - Hippie hairstyle, headbands ... actually the whole hippie look is a personal favourite of mine, Mary Quant came out with the mini skirt, the A-line silhouette, shift dresses, the platform heels made a debut in 70s, jumpsuits, silk blouses, spaghetti tops, tube tops, the big bouffant hairstyles, the controversial sexual liberation....oh I could go on!! So just enjoy these inspiring photos.

Now this article will not be complete without mentioning my ultimate love for all things hippie in the movie "Hare Rama Hare Krishna" with the backdrop of a bitter childhood and tragic heartache. The curtain of smoke, the big glasses, the flower garlands- a whole new level of nirvana

I had done a similar post on 1920s which you can read here
